Our team coordinates and facilitates logistics of PA PQC initiatives, collaborative learning, and quality improvement support in cooperation with its leadership team, patients and families, and advisory groups.

The PA PQC is administered by the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and WHAMglobal, and it is affiliated with the Northeast PQC (NEPaPQC).

Executive Director
Robert is the Chief Policy Officer of the Jewish Healthcare Foundation. He directs and facilitates the PA PQC on behalf of and in partnership with its stakeholders.

Senior Program Manager, Perinatal Health
Jennifer provides guidance to the PA PQC coaches on coaching and quality improvement methods and leads the PA PQC staff in developing and implementing programming. She is the Senior Program Manager of Perinatal Health at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation. 
Sarah Pesi

Sara Pesi, MSPPM

Policy Specialist
Sara brings experience from her role as lead coordinator for the PA Youth Advocacy Network, the Teen Mental Health Collaborative, coordinating fellowships and the Policy Advocacy Coalition for the National Patient Safety Board. She also serves on the PA Health Funder Collaborative workgroup on behavioral health. Sarah supports the PA PQC in program planning and development, as well as resource management.

In her role as a Program Associate, Olivia supports the PA PQC through communications, website updates, and program planning.
Lisa Boyd

Lisa Boyd, BA

Program Specialist, Data Manager, & QI Coach
Lisa serves as the QI coach for 7 Healthcare Teams and is the Data Manager for the PA PQC, managing the PQC’s data collection platform and dashboards and facilitating data collection, analysis and reporting across the PQC’s initiatives. She brings extensive experience providing technical, research, and operations support in various settings, including libraries, state government, higher education, and healthcare quality improvement.
Maureen Saxon-Gioia

Maureen Saxon-Gioia, MHA, BSN, RN

QI Coach
Maureen serves as a Nurse Project Manager at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and coaches 15 PA PQC Healthcare Teams. She brings many years of expertise from her former career as a point-of-care nurse in both high-risk labor and delivery as well as neuro intensive care.

Women's Health Program Specialist & QI Coach
As a Women's Health Program Specialist at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, Kristen coaches 18 PA PQC Healthcare Teams through their quality improvement work and brings expertise from her previous work as a neonatal nurse to the PA PQC.

Karena is the Improvement Optimization Advisor at Geisinger Health System and coaches 16 Healthcare Teams in Northeastern PA in addition to managing the Northeastern PA PQC (NEPaPQC).

Senior Program Manager, Community Health, & QI Coach
Deborah coaches 9 Healthcare Teams to support their quality improvement work. Deborah's background includes work within international public health and community health. She brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the PA PQC team, including quality improvement coaching, grant management, facilitation of collaborative learning and peer-exchanges, program data analysis, and much more.

Hadar Re'em, MPH, MSW

Program Associate & QI Coach
To support the PA PQC, Hadar coaches 5 Healthcare Teams, assists with program development, data collection, analysis, and reporting, in addition to managing the website. Her approach to quality improvement, program development, and data analysis are shaped by past experiences, including working at a community-based organization, policy work at a state-wide coalition, and quality improvement within health systems and a health plan.
